We are pleased to be working with Baker College and their program to develop skilled labor, MAT2. The MAT2 Program is an innovative, industry-driven workforce development strategy that develops a loyal workforce, provides a sustainable pipeline of talent, and ensures that industry needs are met. Developed in conjunction with global technology leaders, MAT2 combines theory, practice, and hands-on-training to train a globally competitive workforce. MAT2 addresses two critical issues facing high-tech manufacturing: a widening skills gap and an aging workforce. With the MAT2 Program, students earn while they learn. The program provides a living-wage, a debt-free associate degree, and an industry-aligned education.
The MAT2 Program aligns with Bopp Busch’s longstanding history of internships an apprentice training. Bopp-Busch is proud to be grooming young, skilled trades talent through tuition reimbursement, on the job training, stipend payment support, and commitment to high paying technical jobs in our community. Since 1948, we have believed that providing quality to our customers begins with a quality workforce. Today, we remain committed to fostering a stable and skilled team that continues to deliver the highest standard of service and quality.
